Our residencies are open to any photographer or multimedia artist preferably working on projects with a humanitarian focus. We welcome applications from established professionals and emerging talent. We operate a rolling application's procedure throughout the year and an individual may apply only once during any 12 month period.
Applications are chosen by a panel who will assess each application on its individual merits. Their decision is final and not open to appeal.
Those submitting applications for projects that meet with the aims and objectives of Changing Ideas www.changingideas.org will take priority over other applications.
Photographers are expected to bring with them any computer equipment loaded with relevant software and any other specialised equipment or consumables (such as photo quality printer paper) required.
For joint applications, each individual is required to provide all of the information above with the exception that a joint artists statement must be submitted.

- CV – Max 2 pages.
- Artists Statement detailing how you intend to use your time at the Old Church and the importance of the residency to your practice. Max 1 page.
- If photographer, 10 examples of your work saved as medium compression jpgs with the longest side1000 pixels at 72 dpi or
a link to an external website.
